Professor Joe Vee was born in Perth Wester Australia. His parents migrated from South America where Prof Vee Senior was a research scientist and explorer. It is from this research that Professor Joe Vee studies AMS (Ancient Mayan Scrolls) for source material for his Human Powered Aircraft (HPAC). Also the Human Powered Speed Boat (HPSB).

Joe Vee has always been interested in Mayan Heritage. "I remember when I was only small, everything I did was a discovery. Then one day we unearthed the HPAC scrolls and I've never stopped since". Since the discovery of the HPAC scrolls, more evidence has been unearthed over several expeditions to AM (Ancient Maya). "Now I know why I need to do this, I am not 100% human and therefore I need to get back to my roots and the HPAC is probably the closest I'll ever get".
